Summer Reading Kick off Event

Summer Reading Kick-off Party: To start off our summer reading season we are joining together with several departments and businesses to show community unity. This event will be on Tuesday, June 6 from 1-4PM. We have 10 new bikes donated for give away. Participants will receive a card which will include each stop at the event. After each stop has been marked off they can put that card in a box of their choice provided for each bike. Drawing for the bikes will be the following day. This event will include a BBQ, Bike Rodeo, Bike Helmet education and give away, used book sale, face painting, savings plan tips, touch and see trucks from public works and a surprise from city hall. As added fun and unity we will have several yard games out for families and friends to join together and play.
