Motion Commotion

Lead by the Union County Extension Office.  This program empowers youth to explore the physics of motion and distracted driving.  This exciting activity will combine a speeding car collision and a distracted driving demonstration in a simulated activity that investigates the physical and human factors of motion.  Youth explore the science of motion through the relationship of speed and stopping distance.  The activity extends to real-world investigations on reaction time and safety, making connections to the dangers of distracted driving.
