Moon Program

June 5, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Dakota Valley Science Teacher Amanda Vande Vegte is leading this hands-on program. “What do we notice about the moon?”  Participants will look at the different characteristics of the moon, discuss moon phases, read about moon myths, and complete a crater lab.  During the lab, you will try to discover what makes the bigger craters: mass or speed of the meteoroids.
